Argentine Tango, with its dark smokey melodies and tangled, winding footwork, evolved in the dance halls and the brothels of poorer districts of Buenos Aires, Argentina. True to its roots, it is one of the more sensual dances. Since 1915, Argentine Tango has been a sensation sweeping all the way to the Parisian cafes of Europe. Despite time, milongas, or tango dances, can still be found right here today in Savannah. People are still reaching for the Argentine tango to express their passion for life and each other.
